My interviewee is a Chatham alumni who is currently employed at Merrill Lynch. They were only here for their graduate degree so they were not apart of the available clubs on campus. What I learned about good studying strategies is that it is important to make time to study. A lot of students have busy schedules and put studying to the side but it is always important to find the time to study for tests/quizzes. A piece of advice I learned about building a good portfolio is how important it is to get internships. Internships are valuable because they teach you different parts of a business and they look good when the time comes to apply for my first job. I also learned how important the business mixers are. The article discusses about Elon Musk's Tesla company and its most recent problems. Elon Musk has recently been in the light regarding a tweet he made about securing funding. That tweet spiked Tesla's stock price and he is now under investigation for it. He also has to deal with multiple lawsuits during this time. One of the most important things he has on his plate now is competition. Some funding is now being given to competing companies instead of his. The idea of competition in this article relates to competition in the textbook. The textbook talks about "perfect competition being when consumers can buy the same product just from different companies."
