My interviewee is a Chatham alumni who is currently employed at Merrill Lynch. They were only here for their graduate degree so they were not apart of the available clubs on campus. What I learned about good studying strategies is that it is important to make time to study. A lot of students have busy schedules and put studying to the side but it is always important to find the time to study for tests/quizzes. A piece of advice I learned about building a good portfolio is how important it is to get internships. Internships are valuable because they teach you different parts of a business and they look good when the time comes to apply for my first job. I also learned how important the business mixers are. They are a great way to meet different businesses and get your "in" to that company. Following up is just as important after meeting someone because it gives them a chance to remember you.
